Stranger Things Star David Harbor Says World of Warcraft ‘ruined’ his life

Weird things Fans shouldn’t be strangers to seeing them Dungeons & Dragons It’s been referenced throughout the show, but as it turns out, actor David Harbor portraying Jim Hopper appears to have been really big on another hit game at one point: world of cans. Harbor spoke about his self-diagnosed addition to the game recently during a Netflix Geeked Week event and shared his account of playing the MMO relentlessly until The Sims of all things provided him with some unexpected introspection.

During the post-show program for the final season of Weird thingsHarbor spoke of him Fabulous Addictive by detailing his playing style and even the specific year he played in which he was “heavy addict”.

“In 2005, I played the best of this game,” Harbor said. “You ruined my life for about a year. I mean, I lost my mind.”

“I was a Night Warrior named Norad, and it was the second tank of my guild group,” Harbor continued, adding that he was about to go around some raids when he played.

Exaggeration in games like Fabulous It’s something people can relate to very easily, but in Harbor’s case, it was a different game that supposedly helped him out of it. He was playing The Sims (he didn’t specify which one) and said he has an in-game avatar and is an actor. He kept instructing his avatar to work on attributes related to the job, but all his person wanted was to play games.

“You have to work on your speech and on your body, right? But I remember my avatar had reached a certain level in his career, and I kept trying to get him to work on his speech – he was like a supporting player – but I wanted him to work on his speech and his body, all he wanted What he did was sit down and play video games, and I kept being, and then I was like, this swirling moment where I saw my life before—”

Harbor joked that he’s done just fine since then and that he “come back” from his time with him Fabulous.
